At Chalgrove we have carefully landscaped Monument Business Park over the past twenty years, using only indigenous species.
The result is that the Park is well hidden behind quite tall hedges (mainly hawthorn, which doubles as a good security barrier, but also elm and sycamore). We understand that some of the residents of Chalgrove are not aware that there is a business park on their doorstep! Luckily the Park is well signposted, so your visitors will not get lost.
In the last 10 years more than 15,000 shrubs and 500 trees have been planted, including wild flower areas and plants designed to attract birds, butterflies and bees. Our central green with circular seated area around a fish pond provides a haven for a quiet chat or a picnic. All of this has been achieved in partnership with our garden landscape designer Sue James, who recently won a gold medal award for her designs, and our maintenance team Slade Estates.
